Kicking Off 2012 (w/ list of Facility areas)

This year we will be introducing our new Website, a new Programs Blog and our 2012 Events Booklet. Why not create and new and improved wedding Blog?

I will use this site to display photos from past weddings and events to give potential brides and grooms ideas for their Castle Wedding. You will see photos from all of the Castle areas, including:

The Great Hall - Indoor main hall that can accommodate 100 for a ceremony, 70 for a sit down and 120 for a standing reception. Used for cocktail hour for all events.

The Terrace - Balcony off the Great Hall with views from Downtown to Pike's Peak. Can accommodate 30 for sit down. Used for cocktail hour for all events.

Court Yard - Enclosed outdoor shaded location that can accommodate 40 for sit down. Used for bridal procession gathering and cocktail hour for all outdoor events.

Castle Court - Large cement area in front of the Castle with views of Pike's Peak and beyond. Can accommodate 250 for ceremony and 150 for sit down. Most commonly used for ceremony and cocktail hour for outdoor weddings.

Veranda Tent - Beautiful tent located just down the steps in front of the Castle. Usually up May through September and can accommodate up to 150 for a sit down and 200 for a ceremony. Features views of Pike's Peak and beyond, twinkle lights and room for dancing. Most commonly used for outdoor wedding receptions.

Pavilion Tent - Larger tent located near the picnic house a short distance from the Castle. Usually up June through September and can accommodate up to 225 for a sit down. Spectacular views and plenty of room for dancing.

In addition to these locations, we have a tower, arches and a walkway behind the terrace and Memorial Gardens, which are unbelievable photo locations.

With your rental fee, you have exclusive access to all these locations, bride and groom changing rooms and all necessary tables and chairs. We also include mini guided tours for your guests during the cocktail hour. All in all, it is a magical location for an unforgettable wedding.
